Job summary

GLOCOMP Systems in Malaysia seeks a driven Business Development Manager with a hunter mindset to grow cybersecurity and data centre solutions. You will identify new enterprise customers, build pipeline, and close opportunities across cybersecurity, data centre, colocation, cloud connectivity, and managed services.

You will collaborate with product, presales, vendors and partners, develop channel relationships, and drive revenue through recurring models.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Technology Solution Sales.
• Proven experience in new business hunting and pipeline development.
• Experience in Cybersecurity, Data Centre, Cloud, Networking, Managed Services, or Enterprise Infrastructure is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable engaging new customers and senior decision makers.
• Able to work independently and proactively.
• Experience working with System Integrators, Resellers, MSPs, or technology partners is an advantage.
• Good understanding of recurring revenue, subscription, MRC / ARR, and multi-year contract models.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new enterprise customers and business opportunities.
• Proactively generate leads through prospecting, networking, events, partners, and customer engagement.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Engage key stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT Managers, Security Managers, and Infrastructure Managers.
• Develop opportunities across Cybersecurity, Data Centre, Colocation, Cloud Connectivity, and Managed Services.
• Conduct initial discovery and understand customer business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with Product, Presales, Vendors, and Partners on solution development, POCs, workshops, and proposals.
• Develop channel partners and drive joint customer engagements.
• Manage opportunities from qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
• Maintain sales forecasts and achieve assigned revenue and pipeline targets.
• Ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.
