Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a Cybersecurity Sales Consultant in Malaysia. You will drive the full sales cycle for Data Protection solutions, engaging IT and Security leaders and delivering value-driven proposals with pre-sales support. Build lasting relationships and forecast pipeline while collaborating with marketing and vendors.

The role requires 2–3 years in B2B tech sales, strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Postgrad or bachelor in IT, cybersecurity or equivalent.
• 2–3 years in B2B tech sales (Cybersecurity/IT infra/Cloud/SaaS).
• Experience with enterprise clients or regulated industries.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand Data Protection solutions and services.
• Identify business challenges with a consultative approach.
• Convert qualified leads into sales opportunities via discovery.
• Lead the full sales cycle and forecast accurately.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and accurate forecasting.
• Conduct discovery meetings with IT & Security leaders.
• Prepare value-driven proposals, demos & presentations.
• Build long-term relationships and become a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, marketing & vendors.
• Support marketing content and customer success stories.
