Job summary

Fortive is seeking a Business Development Manager for Data Center Solutions in Malaysia. You will drive sales growth, expand market presence, and convert opportunities across the data center ecosystem by partnering with customers, consultants, EPCs, hyperscalers, colocation operators, and partners.

You will lead market development and provide technical and application expertise to win projects. MEA-focused travel across Malaysia is required to support strategic opportunities and customer

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or application engineering in data centers or related industries.
• Proven ability to develop opportunities, drive funnel conversion, and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong commercial and technical acumen with ability to position complex solutions.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal, in a matrix environment.
• Willingness to travel across Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and advance strategic opportunities across the data center ecosystem.
• Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, EPCs, and industry stakeholders.
• Influence project specifications and solution adoption during development stages.
• Drive funnel conversion by advancing opportunities through qualification, solution development, and closure.
• Partner with channel partners and sales teams to win new projects and grow accounts.
• Develop expertise across Fortive solutions and advise on best-fit applications for data centers.
