Job summary

SBH Kibing Silicon Materials (M) Sdn. Bhd. Kudat site is seeking an Assistant HR Manager to oversee global HR operations, oversee payroll, employee relations, and compliance with Malaysian labour laws.

This role will coordinate manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and HR reporting. The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of HR experience, a relevant degree, and fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, with strong MS Office and HRIS/Payroll skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of HR operational experience.
• Good understanding of Malaysian labour laws & statutory rules.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and HRIS / Payroll System.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of HR operations, including manpower, employee administration, attendance, payroll, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, and HR documentation
• Oversee monthly payroll processing, attendance verification, statutory contributions, and employee benefits
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, labour regulations, and statutory requirements
• Lead recruitment, manpower planning, onboarding, confirmation, transfer, promotion, and other personnel movements
• Coordinate performance appraisal, KPI management, probation confirmation, promotion, and related HR processes
• Coordinate employee training, skills development, and employee development programs
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, employee communication, and employee engagement
• Prepare HR reports, manpower analysis, payroll-related reports, and other management reports
• Coordinate with government agencies and support statutory submissions, inspections, audits, and other compliance matters
• Implement and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and HR processes
• Report HR matters and work progress to the Superior and seek management support when coordination is required.
