Job summary

BOGAM CORPORATION SDN. BHD. in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, seeks a Senior HR Executive / Assistant HR Manager to lead HR operations including payroll, recruitment, onboarding and HR documentation.

The role requires hands-on management, liaison with authorities (JTK), and advising management on HR matters in line with Malaysian labour laws. Full-time position with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BA in HRM, Business Admin or related
• Minimum 5 years HR experience
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and labour regs
• Experience with JTK/Industrial Relations is a plus
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll, attendance, overtime, allowances, leave and employee claims accurately.
• Handle payroll calculation for monthly- and daily-rated employees.
• Ensure correct calculation of overtime, rest days and public holidays per labour laws.
• Manage EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and other statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955 and applicable labour regulations.
• Liaise with Jabatan Tenaga Kerja (JTK) and other authorities as needed.
• Handle employee disciplinary matters, warnings, show-cause letters and termination procedures.
• Manage recruitment, interviews, offers, onboarding and confirmation of employees.
• Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR policies, SOPs and records.
• Manage performance appraisal, KPI and disciplinary records.
• Advise Management on HR matters and labour-law issues.
• Handle grievances and maintain healthy employee relations.
• Improve HR systems, procedures and internal controls.
• Prepare HR reports and manpower planning.
