Job summary

KLK Land Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager, Human Resources to oversee end-to-end monthly payroll, recruitment, HR systems administration, and compensation and benefits.

The role supports HR operational efficiency, compliance, and employer branding initiatives, with responsibilities across payroll processing, HRMS, recruitment, employee engagement and industrial relations.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of HR experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of HR experience with payroll and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll statutory contributions and payroll reconciliation.
• Experience with HRMS systems and data reporting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Administering and maintaining the HRMS, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.
• Supporting the implementation and improvement of HRMS processes and system enhancements.
• Managing and coordinating end-to-end recruitment process to fill vacancies.
• Administering compensation and benefits matters per policy.
• Preparing HR reports, payroll reports, and HR analytics.
• Coordinating employee engagement activities and welfare programmes.
• Handling industrial relations matters including grievances and counselling.
• Supporting employer branding initiatives to attract and retain talent.
• Monitoring HR processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Assisting HR audits and compliance reviews.
