Job summary

The role focuses on aligning programmes with business goals, driving employee engagement, and enabling leadership development across sites.

You will oversee LMS platforms, evaluate training impact with metrics, and manage partnerships with external providers while guiding mentoring and succession planning efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in learning and development or training management, preferably in a group or multi-site organisation.
• Proven experience designing and delivering effective training programmes for diverse audiences.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery methods.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage training budgets and demonstrate ROI on learning initiatives.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
• Experience in training needs analysis and competency mapping.
• Knowledge of talent development, mentoring, and coaching methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a consultative approach to stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with our business objectives and organisational goals.
• Create and deliver engaging training programmes across multiple levels, from entry-level to senior management.
• Identify training needs through assessments, feedback, and performance reviews across the group.
• Manage the group's learning management system (LMS) and training platforms to ensure seamless access and delivery.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through metrics, feedback, and performance indicators.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors to enhance programme quality.
• Lead talent development initiatives including mentoring, coaching, and succession planning programmes.
• Oversee budget management for learning and development activities across the group.
• Provide HR business partnership support to line managers regarding employee development and performance.
• Conduct training needs analyses and produce recommendations for organisational capability building.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in learning and development.
