Job summary

APM Automotive Holdings Berhad is seeking a senior Learning & Development leader to shape and drive the group’s L&D strategy, building a future-ready workforce across its manufacturing subsidiaries.

You will design how learning programs align with business goals, lead leadership development, mentorship, succession planning, and ensure measurable ROI while championing a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 8–10 years in Learning & Development with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably auto parts or R&D.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and modern L&D technologies.
• Certifications in learning and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTD) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead L&D strategy development and implementation aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs and e-learning.
• Lead leadership pipelines through mentorship, coaching, and succession planning.
• Provide guidance to L&D reps and build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with HRBPs and R&D to address subsidiary learning needs.
• Develop metrics to evaluate ROI and report to senior leadership.
• Support talent management and succession planning initiatives.
• Lead change management and foster an inclusive learning culture.
