About the role We are seeking an experienced Training & Development Manager to join us.
This is a full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training and development programmes that enhance employee capabilities and drive organisational growth.
You will play a crucial part in building a culture of continuous learning whilst ensuring our workforce remains engaged, motivated, and equipped with the skills necessary to succeed in their roles.
Key responsibilities
To cultivate and encourage modern learning modules that focuses in utilising the current AI Technology. It can be finding a relevant and useful solutions, formulas, ways of doing things differently; shorten the leadtime required and cost.
Design and develop training programmes tailored to meet the specific needs of different departments and employee levels
Assess training needs through consultation with managers, team leaders, and employees to identify skill gaps and development opportunities
Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and via digital platforms
Manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of high-quality development initiatives
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback collection, assessments, and performance metrics; keep track of employees' learning progress, record keeping and learning materials.
Support the onboarding process by developing and implementing induction programmes for new employees
Monitor employee progress and development, providing guidance and support to encourage career advancement
Report on training initiatives and their impact on employee performance and organisational objectives
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development or a related HR function
Proven track record of designing and delivering successful training programmes
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Certification in training and development, such as CIPD or equivalent, is preferred
