UHP Gas Sys Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on Finance & HR Executive to oversee daily financial operations and support HR matters in Gelang Patah, Johor, Malaysia.
The role covers billing, accounts, payroll, record-keeping, and liaison with auditors, banks, and tax agents. A Diploma/Degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred. You will support onboarding and HR documentation while ensuring compliance and timely payroll processing.
We are looking for a hands-on Finance & HR Executive to oversee day-to-day financial operations while supporting the company HR related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance
Take ownership of the company’s daily finance operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processing, and collections.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accounting transactions are properly recorded and supported.
Monitor cash positions and assist with short-term cash flow planning.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial summaries, reconciliations, and relevant supporting schedules.
Conduct regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies where necessary.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, company secretarial representatives, and banks on finance-related matters.
Ensure financial records are maintained accurately and in accordance with applicable Malaysian statutory and accounting requirements.
Human Resources & Administration
Handle day-to-day employee administration from joining through to separation.
Maintain up-to-date employee records, attendance, leave, and other personnel documentation.
Coordinate monthly payroll processing and ensure timely submission of statutory contributions and deductions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB.
Assist with recruitment activities, including interview coordination, candidate communication, and preparation of employment documentation.
Facilitate onboarding processes and ensure new employees complete the necessary documentation.
Prepare employment-related letters, HR correspondence, and other personnel documents.
Provide administrative support on routine employee matters and HR processes.
Provide cross-functional support to management on finance, HR, and administrative activities.
What We’re Looking For:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of relevant working experience, preferably with exposure to both accounting and HR administration.
Practical experience handling full-set accounting and routine HR/payroll processes.
Familiarity with Malaysian accounting practices, payroll procedures, and statutory requirements.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting or payroll systems.
Strong attention to detail with good organisational and record-keeping skills.
Able to work independently, prioritise multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
Responsible, practical, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks.
Good communication and coordination skills when dealing with employees, management, and external parties.
