KMWE Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to manage AP processes and ensure data integrity within the ERP system. The role involves processing supplier invoices, payments, and bank transactions while monitoring cash flow for daily operations.
The ideal candidate will review invoice discrepancies, prepare reports, and support budgeting and audits. Strong Excel and ERP experience with attention to detail is essential for success in this manufacturing environment.
Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) function and maintain the integrity of AP data in the ERP system.
Process supplier invoices and payments in accordance with company accounting policies.
Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient funds are available for daily business operations.
Review and resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with internal departments and suppliers.
Process bank transactions, including payments, transfers, and bank reconciliations.
Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and ensure timely payment settlements.
Prepare and manage petty cash transactions and banking documents.
Support quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgeting activities.
Generate finance reports from the accounting system for management review.
Work closely with the IT team to develop finance-related system reports.
Liaise with headquarters on accounting system transactions and finance-related matters.
Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and resolving audit findings.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
Assist with general accounting duties and ad hoc assignments as required.
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent; or at least 1 to
5 years of related working experience and training; or equivalent combination of
education and working experience
Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail with excellent accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
