Job summary

Kingfisher HR Solutions Group seeks an experienced Business Development professional to drive growth in the payments ecosystem. You will source and close opportunities with merchants, PSPs and strategic partners, building long-term relationships to enable sustainable expansion.

The role requires 5+ years in business development, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin. Management duties include leading a BD team, setting KPIs, and guiding cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, Finance, Banking or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, partnership management, account management or sales.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading and writing) to serve Chinese-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with merchants, PSPs and strategic partners.
• Build and maintain strong partner relationships to drive growth.
• Conduct market research and analyze the payments ecosystem and industry trends.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance and Customer Support to launch projects and expand business.
• Manage partner onboarding, negotiations, contract discussions and client management.
• Gather market feedback to inform product improvements and localization strategy.
• Represent the company at meetings, industry events and partner engagements.
• Build and lead a Business Development team; recruit and train members; set KPIs and achieve targets.
