Job summary

a.hartrodt Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Setia Alam is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage end-to-end orders and coordinate logistics across sea and airfreight. You will liaise with overseas offices to arrange bookings and ensure customer requirements are met.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, the ability to work independently, and a positive attitude in a long-standing global freight forwarder. Fresh graduates welcome, with good Bahasa Malaysia and English skills.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or degree in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English in written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to manage their orders from door to door.
• Coordinate sea and airfreight shipments.
• Liaise with overseas offices to coordinate bookings while meeting customer requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service and efficient management in import/export operations, including timely invoicing and required documents.
• Maintain excellent relationships with assigned clients and handle local and overseas communications.
• Update customers on shipment status and service levels; strive for improvements.
• Undertake other assignments and ad-hoc duties as required.
• Provide quotations for Air/ Ocean Exports.

Job description

Communicate with customers to manage their orders from door to door.

Co-ordinate and monitor closely all sea and airfreight shipments.

Liaise with overseas offices to coordinate bookings whilst meeting customer requirements.

Provide excellent customer service, effective and efficient management in import / export operations, efficient and error free preparation of all necessary documents, timely invoicing and other related jobs.

Provide a high level of service and maintain excellent relationship with all the clients assigned.

Handling assigned local and overseas communication.

Interact with customers in a professional manner and ensure that information about shipment’s operational status is promptly relayed to customers

Work on service level improvements.

To undertake other special assignment, ad-hoc functions and related duties specified by the management as and when required

Quotations for Air / Ocean Exports.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.

Required skill(s): Computer literate, presentation preparation and report, good communication skills, self-discipline, Good attitude, POSITIVE and able to work independently under minimum supervision.

Good knowledge in Import & Export operation will be added an advantage.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English (Good command of English in both verbal and written communication).

International appearance & pleasant personality.

Good future career enhancement program.

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Applicants must be willing to work in SETIA ALAM.

Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
