Job summary

Mediterranean Shipping Company (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to support daily operations in the customer care department. You will manage booking tasks, respond promptly to emails and calls, and coordinate with internal and external teams to maintain smooth workflow.

Fresh graduates are welcome. A Diploma/degree in logistics, business, or related fields is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to learn new systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Logistics/Transportation, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-2 years customer service experience in a similar industry is a plus; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and quick to learn new systems.

Attending and handling all daily operations needs from the customer care dept by managing the task needed on the booking team and ensure proper compliance is achieve during this time.

Replying to emails and handling incoming calls professionally and promptly.

Liaise with internal and external colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.

To assist immediate superior on any assigned ad hoc task.

Reports to team leader / Supervisor

Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Business Administration or equivalent.

Candidates with 1-2 years customer service background in similar industry would be an added advantage for this role.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

A team player, self-driven and independent to work under pressure to meet deadlines, strong analytical and good communication skills.

Candidates must be able to speaks and write good English.

Proficient in MS Office applications.

Must be prepared to learn new system applications.

Position is a short term and temporary contract for 3-6 months.
