Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Customer Program Manager (CPM) in Malaysia to lead cross-functional program execution and align customer expectations with internal teams. You will drive revenue and margin targets while managing scope, risks, and capacity across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering.

You will serve as the main customer contact, track commitments, prevent scope creep, and provide regular executive-level updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8–10 years of experience in program management, manufacturing operations, or customer-facing technical account management.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization without direct supervisory authority.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including managing scope creep, NRE costs, scrap/rework, and inventory.
• Experience with RCA/8D and executive-level de-escalation.

Responsibilities

• Lead matrixed cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering) to achieve milestone dates and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts; monitor commitments and align forecasts with factory capacity.
• Drive root-cause analysis and resolve high-stakes yield/delivery/quality crises under time pressure.
• Monitor program financials, including NRE costs, scrap/rework, and inventory to protect profitability.
• Maintain executive presence when communicating delays or capacity bottlenecks and de-escalate as needed.
• Host regular status reviews and provide performance reporting for Operations and CPRs.
• Provide flexible support alignment for global time zones (20–30% off-shift).
