World Mode Consultancy MY Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive sales professional to originate, qualify, and close new business for World Mode Malaysia. Focus on acquiring new corporate clients and building recurring revenue, including international and Japanese brands across retail, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality, and F&B.
Represent WMM's connected service offering across recruitment, payroll, HR, training, outsourced store operations, and more.
The primary responsibility of this role is to proactively originate, qualify, and close new business for World Mode Malaysia. The role focuses on acquiring new corporate clients and building recurring revenue, particularly from international and Japanese brands across retail, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality, and F&B, while remaining flexible to other industries as well. You will represent WMM's connected service offering, including recruitment and staffing, payroll and HR support, training, outsourced store operations, retail consultancy, market-entry support, and project coordination. Success will be measured by qualified pipeline development, opportunity progression, closed revenue, gross-profit contribution, and recurring client value - not sales activity alone.
Build and maintain a prioritised target-account list aligned with WMM's service strengths and agreed priority sectors.
Identify the appropriate decision-makers and create qualified opportunities through targeted calls, email outreach, networking, referrals, events, and disciplined follow-up.
Develop new relationships independently rather than relying mainly on existing contacts or inbound enquiries.
Understand each prospect's business need, budget, decision process, timing, and commercial potential before treating it as a qualified opportunity.
Work with operations and management to develop solutions that are deliverable, competitively priced, and commercially viable for WMM.
Own the full sales cycle from target identification and first contact through qualification, proposal, negotiation, closing, and contract coordination.
Negotiate within approved pricing, margin, and contractual parameters, and elevate exceptions before making commitments to clients.
Ensure every closed opportunity has a documented scope, commercial terms, responsibilities, timeline, and delivery requirements before handover.
Maintain a live and accurate pipeline showing client, opportunity, stage, estimated value, probability, next action, and expected closing date.
Monitor market developments, competitor offerings, and client feedback, and translate relevant insights into practical sales actions.
Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or corporate partnerships, with evidence of clients personally prospected, proposals personally developed, and deals personally closed.
Experience in retail, recruitment, staffing, training, HR services, market entry, store operations, or related professional services is an advantage.
Strong communication, presentation, proposal-writing, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Commercial judgement, including the ability to consider pricing, margin, delivery feasibility, risk, and approval boundaries.
Self-directed, resilient, organised, and consistent in prospecting and follow-up, with the ability to work effectively under limited supervision.
Organised and commercially driven, with strong pipeline management skills and a proactive approach to identifying and developing sales opportunities.
Able to collaborate closely with operations, marketing, finance, HR, and management without transferring premature or poorly defined commitments to delivery teams.
