A leading sports brand firm is seeking a Community Lead in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves grassroots activation efforts, community engagement, and brand promotion to foster relationships with local fitness communities. The ideal candidate will design and manage sporting activities, engage participants, and create content that resonates with the brand's values. This is a chance to lead brand advocacy efforts while driving community loyalty across the Malaysian market.
As the Community Lead for On’s brand in Malaysia, you will be the pulse of our grassroots activation efforts in the Malaysian market. This role blends event management, community building, brand engagement, and product advocacy to foster authentic, long-term relationships with local runners and fitness communities.
You will design and execute regular sporting activities that align with On’s performance philosophy, while cultivating an active, engaged community of On enthusiasts across Malaysia. Your efforts will drive brand loyalty, amplify On’s innovations, and create memorable experiences that bring On’s Swiss-engineered products to life.
Design and lead regular community sports activities (e.g., run clubs, trail running, fitness meet‑ups) tailored to the Malaysian market.
Collaborate with local gyms, studios, and sports clubs to co-host activations.
Build authentic experiences that showcase On’s technologies such as CloudTec® and Helion™ superfoam.
Represent On as a brand ambassador in Malaysia, embodying our innovation and performance ethos in every community interaction.
Recruit and manage a diverse community of participants both online and offline, ensuring inclusivity across different levels of athletes.
Develop recognition strategies (e.g., milestones, achievements) to strengthen engagement.
Track participation and collect insights to refine community strategies.
Organize product trial sessions during community runs and events to gather local feedback.
Share actionable insights from the Malaysian market with regional and global teams.
Engage early adopters and product enthusiasts to support grassroots product advocacy.
Capture and curate content showcasing Malaysian community activities and member stories.
Partner with the regional marketing team to localize content for Malaysian audiences.
Support digital storytelling that highlights On’s brand journey in Malaysia.
Position On as a leading sports and lifestyle brand within Malaysia’s running and fitness community.
Build partnerships with event organizers, race directors, and sports influencers to amplify reach.
Create opportunities for passionate community members to evolve into brand advocates or partners.
