The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, expanding the company's market presence, and increasing sales within the quarry, mining and related industries. The role requires a commercially driven individual with good knowledge of quarry and mining operations who is comfortable working closely with quarry owners, contractors, blasting companies, engineers, purchasing teams and site personnel.
Key responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the quarry, mining, blasting, construction and related industries.
Generate new leads and convert prospective customers into long-term accounts.
Develop strategies to increase sales revenue, market penetration and profitability.
Promote and sell the company's range of quarry, mining and blasting accessories and related products.
Conduct regular customer and site visits to understand operational requirements and identify potential business opportunities.
Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, tenders and product presentations.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and supply arrangements within approved company guidelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Monitor market developments, competitor activities, industry pricing and emerging opportunities.
Develop monthly and annual sales plans in line with company targets.

Commercially driven individual with good knowledge of quarry and mining operations.
Comfortable working closely with quarry owners, contractors, blasting companies, engineers, purchasing teams and site personnel.
Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Ability to prepare quotations, commercial proposals, tenders and product presentations.
Ability to negotiate pricing, commercial terms and supply arrangements.
Understanding of regulatory, licensing, storage, transportation and end-user requirements for quarry, mining and blasting-related products.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding company pricing, customer information and commercially sensitive information.
