Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the quarry and mining sectors. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building relationships with quarry owners, contractors and site personnel, and developing strategies to increase sales and market share.

The ideal candidate will be commercially driven with knowledge of quarry and mining operations and capacity to negotiate pricing and terms with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within quarry, mining, blasting, construction and related industries.
• Generate new leads and convert prospective customers into long-term accounts.
• Develop strategies to increase sales revenue, market penetration and profitability.
• Promote and sell quarry, mining and blasting accessories and related products.
• Conduct regular customer and site visits to understand operational requirements and identify opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, tenders and product presentations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and supply arrangements within company guidelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Monitor market developments and competitor activities.
