Job summary

Hextar Mitai (FKA Mitaicorp Engineering) invites a driven Business Development/Sales professional to explore market opportunities in Malaysia and grow the client base in the construction and engineering sectors. You will communicate with clients to understand their needs, prepare accurate quotations, follow up on orders, and visit sites to strengthen relationships.

Willingness to travel and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of business development / sales experience in construction or other engineering fields (e.g. Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Oil & Gas).
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Willing to travel for client and site visits.
• Positive attitude, willing to learn, hardworking, result-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Explore market for business opportunities and generate new leads
• Provide competitive and accurate quotations, and follow up on quotations, sales and deliveries
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations
• Promote long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients through client and site visits
• Engage and promote company business
• Constantly review competitiveness of the company
• Provide reports to management on sales forecast and analysis
• Any other responsibilities assigned by Management
