Job summary

Wan Husin & Associates Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive tendering activities and win new business. The role focuses on managing bids, drafting proposals, networking with clients, and maintaining marketing materials.

Fluent English and Malay are required, with strong communication and market research skills. You will contribute to a landmark project by expanding the company’s client base and revenue streams through strategic tendering, proposals, and relationship

Qualifications

• 5+ years working experience with extensive tendering activities.
• Attention to details, highly organized and proactive.
• Great networking and influencing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Malay.
• Resourceful with outstanding market research skills.
• Adaptable to challenges.
• Working knowledge of tendering processes applicable to each industry sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage tender process from pre-qualification through final bid submission.
• Collates and checks documentation within tendering and contract processes.
• Procuring new clients through direct contact and networking.
• Attend industry networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure retention.
• Craft business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue.
• Negotiate with clients to secure favorable terms for the company.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly business development reports.
• Maintain marketing materials and platforms (company profile, website, social media).

Job description

• Manage tender process from the pre-qualification stage through to the final bid submission.
• Collates and checks documentation within the tendering and contract process.
• Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by the Company.
• Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, collaboration with Project Management / Operations and sourcing network / websites.
• Attending industry networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
• Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
• Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
• Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue for the Company.
• Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices and favorable terms to Company.
• Equipping self with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
• Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
• Remaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.
• Preparing and presenting weekly and monthly business development reports to Management.
• Maintaining all marketing materials and platform such as company profile, website and social media
