Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad is seeking a Branch Manager in Malaysia to lead daily operations, grow the customer base, and drive sales targets. You will coach staff, manage risk, and ensure excellent service across the branch network.

The role focuses on strategic planning, relationship building with customers and partners, and delivering a strong branch performance through leadership and a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related working experience, ideally in a Branch Customer Service, Mortgage Direct Sales or Wealth Management Relationship role.
• Strong people management and leadership skills; with ability to guide and train a team to achieve sales targets and service standards.
• Good interpersonal and communication, organisational and planning skills.
• Welcome new challenges and possess a ‘Think-Act-Own’ attitude to see through planned and unplanned deliverables to completion.

Responsibilities

• Drive Impact and Influence through Networking and Strategic Planning.
• Maintain and build relationships with existing and new to Bank customers, prospects and business partners.
• Create new business opportunities and implement tactical sales and marketing strategies; set team direction and goals for growth.
• Provide coaching and guidance to staff to improve competencies.
• Lead by fostering teamwork and manage sales performance to meet branch KRAs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, compliance with guidelines and policies, and effective risk management.
• Maintain good business etiquette and image and ensure branch audits pass and security is maintained.
• Possess sound and up-to-date product knowledge of all consumer products.
