Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Branch Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will coach staff, build relationships with customers and business partners, and implement strategic plans to grow the branch’s business.

You will manage performance, ensure compliance, and maintain high standards of service while cultivating a customer-focused culture and achieving branch targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related working experience, ideally in Branch Customer Service, Mortgage Direct Sales or Wealth Management Relationship roles.
• Strong people management and leadership skills; ability to guide and train a team to achieve sales targets and service standards.
• Good interpersonal and communication, organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Impact and Influence through Networking and Strategic Planning to grow branch business.
• Maintain and build relationships with existing and new to Bank customers, prospects and business partners.
• Implement tactical sales and marketing strategies and set the team’s direction to source new business opportunities.
• Lead and coach staff to improve competencies and drive performance to meet branch KRA.
• Foster teamwork, monitor banking operations for customer satisfaction, compliance, and risk management.
• Ensure branch passes audits and maintains strong security and good business etiquette.
• Possess up-to-date product knowledge of all consumer products.
