Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable Warehouse Assistant to support the Warehouse Manager in receiving, warehousing and distribution operations, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring timely delivery. You will train and supervise staff, review workflow, plan manpower and space, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety and compliance while striving for high service standards.
The role also involves monthly travel, audits, and potential involvement across multiple locations to optimize costs

Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational programs.
Train, supervise, and manage the warehouse team to resolve daily operational issues and achieve short and long-term performance goals.
Assist in reviewing and preparing workflow, manpower planning, space utilization, equipment layout, and action plans to ensure productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards, procedures, and compliance with legal and safety regulations.
Assist in managing warehouse personnel, including recruitment support, supervision, work scheduling, training, development, motivation, discipline, and performance evaluation.
Assist in inventory control by conducting physical stock counts and reconciling with system data to ensure inventory accuracy
Coordinate closely with the inbound, outbound and logistics to ensure daily delivery targets are achieved.
Assist in managing and supervising stock accuracy and timely delivery of goods.
Continuously manage delivery partners’ costing/lead time and find ways to streamline costs by finding new delivery partners
Be able to provide shipment updates on timely basis to sales team
Ensure effective coordination and arrangement for local deliveries and courier deliveries
Reverse logistics arrangements, including but not limited to:
Tracking for non-DOA verified units from SEMS back to retailer store
Assignment of collection/delivery back for above situation
Manage lost cases tracking and reporting.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
3 years & above of warehouse/logistics experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and logistics processes & operations compliances procedure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and any Warehouse or Inventory management system.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Willing and able to travel monthly and conduct operations compliances audit.
Post multiple location warehouse management experience would be advantage.
