Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – Warehouse & Logistics to supervise daily logistics and warehousing activities with a hands-on approach and a focus on customer service. You will report to the Managing Director and coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure accurate shipping schedules for products.

Working days are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The ideal candidate holds a diploma in a relevant field, has at least 5 years of warehouse/inventory

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant field.
• 5 years of experience in warehouse/inventory and logistics.
• Proficient knowledge of logistics and warehousing methods including documentation.
• Ability to perform accurate standard arithmetical computations.
• Good judgment and discretion with confidential information.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall logistics activities and develop inventory strategy planning.
• Lead a team of inventory staff in performing day-to-day inventory activities including receiving materials, managing inventory storage and movement.
• Develop strategy and plan for inventory management and ensure logistic operations are running smoothly on daily inventory activities.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through timely and systematic physical count, and update receiving, issuing, rejection control, and material transfer in the System.
• Oversee the quality of the goods received and be accountable for the on-time and correct delivery of products to Retail Stores / Clinics and accountable for on-time data entry.
• Handle and support daily operational and administrative tasks in the warehouse/ inventory, including receiving, issuing, inventory movement-related.
• Coordinate with all parties on all matters relating to inventory.
• Oversee the entire administration function of the warehouse in good functioning order and always secured.
• Efficiently manage and maximize warehouse stock holding capacity.

The Senior Logistics & Warehouse Executive is responsible for the supervision of the daily logistics & warehouse activities with a focus on upholding work standards and providing excellent customer service. The incumbent must have a hands-on attitude. The Senior Logistics & Warehouse Executive reports to and carries out duties as instructed by the Managing Director. The incumbent is responsible for supervising and assisting in the daily logistics and warehouse activities which include planning, organizing, inventory, stock count, stock arrangement, and directing; managing and evaluating the supply chain and logistics operations. The incumbent also works with internal and external teams to ensure accurate shipping and delivery schedule for new and existing products.

Working days & hours : Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

About you

• Possess at least a diploma in a relevant field
• Have your own transportation
• 5 years of working experience in warehouse/ inventory and logistics
• Proficient knowledge in logistics and warehousing methods and procedures, including documentation
• Knowledge of standard arithmetical computations with accuracy
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information and documents
• High level of organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
