Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Warehouse Assistant Manager/Manager to oversee inbound and outbound operations, ensure safety, and coordinate between management, production, logistics, stockroom and suppliers.

You will produce routine reports, analyze stock movements, and drive improvements to inventory turns and KPIs while maintaining security and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Warehouse Management experience within an electronic manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with external parties.
• Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage all logistics matters with reference to Inbound and Outbound.
• Serve as liaison between Management, Production, Logistics, Stockroom, and Suppliers.
• Report day-to-day Stockroom activities on playbook to ensure activities and plans are tracked and measured.
• Produce and review daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Prepare and provide various analytical reports and review with Client at planned interval basis.
• Meet Stockroom performance KPI such as inventory holding and turns, NIL lines down/ESD impact, on-time stock up, inventory variance report and scrap cost per goal set.
• Troubleshoot, propose and execute solutions on issues regarding Stockroom and Customs.
• Identify all areas of improvement and maximize productivity for logistics activities.
• Ensure health, safety, cleanliness and security of the store, receiving and distribution goods area at all times.
• Attend audits and initiate improvement plans.

The role involves the management of all logistics matters with reference to Inbound and Outbound operations. About you

Diploma or Degree holder in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain or equivalent qualification

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain Management

Warehouse Management experience within an electronic manufacturing environment

Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with external parties

Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality with a high level of integrity and commitment

Solid analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capacities

Technically competent with various software programs (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge is an advantage

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress

Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Excellent command of English and Bahasa Melayu both verbal and written skills
