Qualifications

• Diploma / LCCI / Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (mandatory).
• Experience as Accounts Executive or in a similar role; experience in adhesive or chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome if they have an accounting background and good working attitude.
• Basic or advanced MS Excel skills, including data sorting.
• Proficiency in SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match supplier invoices with PO, GRN, DO, and other supporting documents.
• Verify invoice details, pricing, quantities, approval status, and payment terms.
• Ensure proper coding of invoices into the accounting system.
• Prepare payment vouchers for approval.
• Process payments via bank transfers, cheques, or other approved methods.
• Ensure payments are made within agreed credit terms.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Job description

The Accounts Payable Executive is responsible for managing the Company's accounts payable function, ensuring that supplier invoices are processed accurately and promptly, payments are made within approved credit terms, and financial records are maintained in accordance with the Company's policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.

Tasks & responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match supplier invoices with Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Received Notes (GRN), Delivery Orders (DO), and other supporting documents.
• Verify invoice details, pricing, quantities, approval status, and payment terms.
• Ensure proper coding of invoices into the accounting system.
• Prepare payment vouchers for approval.
• Process payments through bank transfers, cheques, or other approved payment methods.
• Ensure supplier payments are made within agreed credit terms.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management, taking full accountability and responsibility as required.

You're a good fit if you are

• Possess at least a Diploma / LCCI / Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (mandatory).
• Have proven work experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role; experience in the adhesive or chemical manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply, provided they have an accounting educational background and a good working attitude
• Possess basic or advanced MS Excel skills, including data sorting
• Are computer literate, preferably with SAP knowledge.
• Demonstrate good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Have excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
• Are able to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
• Are able to communicate effectively in Chinese, English, and Malay; Mandarin language proficiency is A MUST to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Can work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Show meticulous attention to detail, with strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Are a quick learner with a positive and adaptable attitude.
• Have strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
