Job summary

ADC POWER CONCEPT SDN BHD, a power quality specialist, is seeking an Account Manager to develop business plans and sales strategies for the data center infrastructure market. The role focuses on attaining sales goals, pricing accuracy, and profitable bids while coordinating with the Sales Manager.

You will prepare action plans, penetrate new markets, and contribute to marketing materials and RFP responses, while ensuring adherence to budgets and company policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data center M&E design, solution, tender, and implementation.
• Familiar with Data Centre Architecture and Uptime Institute Tier requirements.
• Able to work independently and in a team with good interpersonal skills.

Job description

Account Manager role reporting to the Sales Manager, responsible for developing business plans and sales strategies to ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability in the data center infrastructure market.

Key responsibilities

Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability

Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects

Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets

Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans and materials

Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin

Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses

Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines

Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team

About you

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent

At least 2 years of working experience and technical accumulation in the data center infrastructure M&E design, solution, tender process, and system implementation, especially with related UPS, Electrical Systems, and HVAC Systems

Familiar with Data Centre Architecture, Engineering and Solutions

Familiar with the standards and requirement for Uptime Institute Tier requirements

Able to work independently and as a team with team members

Good interpersonal skills

Able to handle and cope with the work issues in a professional manner
