Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Shipping Manager to lead end-to-end Shipping & Logistics operations, including warehouse oversight, shipments coordination and LM W compliance. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on expertise in international shipping and customs.

You will manage freight forwarders, ensure documentation accuracy, and drive efficiency while maintaining regulatory standards across inbound and outbound flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics and warehouse management.
• Hands-on with LMW compliance, customs declaration and international shipping.
• Proven track record managing freight forwarders, transportation and warehouse teams.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, LMW compliance and international trade requirements.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory, material handling, storage and stock control.
• Ensure FIFO and stock rotation to minimize obsolescence.
• Monitor warehouse space utilization and implement efficiency measures.
• Enforce safety, security and compliance standards in the warehouse.
• Ensure timely inventory reconciliation and reporting.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery timelines.
• Ensure accurate documentation for all shipping and receiving activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal teams to meet material and delivery requirements.
• Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies or damages with relevant departments.
• Manage customs documentation and ensure LM W compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of import/export activities and ensure correct duty exemptions.
• Liaise with customs authorities on compliance matters.
• Monitor and report logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, warehouse utilization, cost savings).

Job Purpose:
