Logistic shipping Coordinator / Warehouse logistic Assistant

A Logistics and Shipping Coordinator role responsible for coordinating shipments, managing logistics partnerships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods through effective communication and process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners to ensure timely shipment and delivery of goods

Arrange shipment bookings and coordinate with shipping lines to monitor container availability, booking confirmations, sailing schedules, and shipment status

Handle local and overseas customers' enquiries regarding freight rates, shipping schedules, booking confirmations, and shipment follow-ups

Monitor and track shipments from booking confirmation until cargo arrival, providing timely updates to customers and internal departments

Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including export permits, export licences, and other relevant customs documents, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements

Follow up with shippers to resolve discrepancies in M3, package quantities, shipping details, and other shipment-related matters

Liaise with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth customs clearance and efficient cargo movement

Coordinate transportation arrangements and optimise logistics processes to minimise costs and improve operational efficiency

Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and other logistics-related problems promptly

Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare logistics reports as required

About you

Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams

Ensure all logistics activities comply with applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
