Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Mexico's Tlaxcala region is seeking an entry-level Teller to support branch activities and deliver high-quality client services.

You will handle daily transactions, cash management, and assist customers in achieving their financial goals. In this role, you will educate clients on digital banking, adhere to policy and regulatory requirements, and help drive branch revenue through professional, accurate service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
• Money handling experience.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team oriented environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for Citi clients and provide friendly, efficient customer service.
• Perform accurate banking transactions, including cash handling and vault cash management.
• Identify referral opportunities for new products and services based on client goals.
• Educate clients on Citi's digital and self-service options.
• Adhere to bank policies, controls, and regulatory procedures for safety and security.
• Meet client needs and manage issues, escalating as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of client accounts and Citi products and services.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences, measured by defined metrics.
• Assess risk in decisions and escalate/report control issues with transparency.
