Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to oversee technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education partners. You will drive audits, build dev-ready specs, and implement WordPress-focused optimizations while also designing Claude-based tools to automate audits and reporting.

You will work closely with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO, owning AI-ready strategies and scalable workflows to improve rankings and visibility across search engines and AI-enabled channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with focus on technical SEO
• Ability to uncover high-impact issues and drive fixes
• Hands-on experience with WordPress themes, plugins, redirects, and schema
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows for audits and reporting
• Clear written communication for specs and client recommendations

Responsabilités

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links
• Prioritize issues by impact and effort, defend those calls
• Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams, follow through to fixes
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, redirects, schema
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 for drops and indexing problems
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) with structured data and content structure
• Design and build Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, QA, and reporting
• Build content production systems from briefs to near-publish-ready drafts
• Document systems and train team, measure time saved and results
• Act as go-to technical resource, join client calls for deep topics
• Evaluate emerging search technologies and recommend tools and processes
