Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to guide technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education partners. You will identify crawl/indexing issues, write developer-ready specs, and verify fixes, while also building Claude-based tools to automate audits and reporting.

You’ll work with the SEO Lead and support the Executive Director of SEO, owning outcomes across multiple accounts and driving AI-driven search improvements for education sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with 3+ focused on technical SEO.
• Ability to write developer-ready specs and explain complex topics clearly.
• Hands-on WordPress experience: themes, plugins, redirects, schema.
• Experience building Claude-based AI workflows.
• Strong written communication and ability to manage multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Run audits: crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend decisions.
• Write dev-ready specs and verify fixes.
• Build Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, reporting, and QA.
• Own AI-ready content structures and data for LLM search.
