Job summary
Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to guide technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education partners. The role combines traditional audits with Claude-based tool development to reduce manual work and scale the team’s output.
You will work alongside the SEO Lead and support the Executive Director of SEO, owning outcomes across multiple client accounts and driving AI-enabled workflows that improve visibility and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
- Proven ability to uncover high-impact issues and drive fixes.
- Hands-on experience with GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
- Strong written communication to spec and explain to clients.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical audits across client sites and surface issues impacting crawl, indexation, and structure.
- Prioritize issues by impact and defend those calls to stakeholders.
- Write dev-ready specs for web developers and verify fixes post-launch.
- Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, reporting, QA, and content production.
- Coordinate with SEO Lead and Exec. Director of SEO; support client success.
- Monitor and optimize for AI search readiness (AEO/GEO) and structured data.
- Own systems that scale the SEO service and document processes.
