Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to manage technical SEO across a portfolio of higher-education clients. You will write developer-ready specs, fix issues, and drive AI-enabled workflows to improve visibility across traditional and AI search. You’ll collaborate with leaders and support teams to scale the service and deliver measurable results.
The role emphasizes hands-on audits, system-building, and cross-account ownership, with fully remote work and compensation based on experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
- Proven ability to uncover high-impact issues and prioritize fixes.
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
- Strong working knowledge of WordPress and schema implementation.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Claude, including building agents and AI-assisted workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical SEO across client accounts, conducting audits and writing dev-ready specs.
- Prioritize issues by impact and defend those calls.
- Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, reporting, QA, and content production.
- Monitor Search Console and GA4 to catch drops and indexing problems.
- Ensure technical readiness for AI search and EOS/GEO alignment.
