Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Materials Planner to control production batches and serve as the interface between planning and inventory control to align with the production plan. You will minimize overproduction and support KPI targets for WIP and materials management.

Responsibilities include coordinating with planning, scheduling releases, and ensuring material availability. The role requires strong ERP/MRP knowledge, 4–6 years in materials, and APICS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 4–6 years of materials experience.
• APICS certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Minimize excess inventory in production lines and coordinate with planning.
• Lead order processing activities for major customer units.
• Monitor performance against ship date, lead-time, and inventory goals.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler on life cycle and material availability.
• Drive process improvements in order management and production planning.
