Jabil in Mexico offers a Materials Manager role focused on controlling production batches and aligning planning with inventory control to meet the production plan. You will minimize overproduction and improve WIP KPI while coordinating with planning, IC and master scheduling.

The role requires a Bachelor degree and 4-6 years in materials, with APICS certification preferred and strong ERP/MRP skills, plus proficiency with Jabil software packages.

Formación

• Bachelor degree required.
• 4-6 years of experience in materials function.
• APICS certification, Inventory Control, and experience preferred.
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge and use of Jabil software packages.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Minimize inventory excess in the production line with IC and planning.
• Lead order processing activities for major customer units.
• Advise associates on daily customer request priorities.
• Monitor performance to meet ship date, lead time and inventory goals.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler on product life cycle and materials availability.
• Drive process improvements within Order Management area.
• Plan, schedule and approve product releases to production systems.
• Supervise launches, eliminations and engineering changes to avoid obsolescence.
