Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing partner, seeks a Materials Planner to control production batches, align planning with inventory control, and prevent overproduction to protect the finish goods plan.

You will collaborate with Planning, IC, Master Scheduler, and Production leaders to optimize WIP, manage lifecycle, and drive improvements across order management, with APICS certification preferred and 4–6 years in materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• 4-6 years of experience in materials function.
• APICS certification, Inventory Control, and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Minimize inventory excess in production line.
• Lead order processing activities for major customer units.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler on product lifecycle and materials availability.
• Release products to production planning systems based on material and capacity.
• Supervise production launches, eliminations and engineering changes to align with the plan.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production leaders to monitor the plan and on-time delivery.
