Job summary

Jabil in Mexico is seeking a Production Planner to manage all planning activities for the dedicated workcell and mentor the production planners and document coordinators in the workcell. You will own MPS, BOMs, and ensure 100% on-time delivery while aligning with customer demand.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in planning or a Master's with 3+ years, APICS certification preferred. You will work with ERP, ensure material control, and drive improvements in capacity utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in planning or a related field.
• APICS certification and supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, lead times, and BOM routing.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery and build readiness.
• Reconcile MPS with customer PO coverage weekly.
• Maintain capacity planning model and load into ERP.
• Lead BOM creation and routing for accurate WIP tracking.
• Collaborate daily with Workcell and manufacturing teams.
