Job summary

Autoliv Mexico is seeking an experienced HR Manager to partner with the HR Director and central functions, driving strategic HR initiatives and delivering impactful HR solutions across the organization.

The role requires 8+ years in HR, 5+ years in leadership, and strong knowledge of talent management, organizational development, and employee relations. Experience with unionized manufacturing and global HR processes is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Business Degree.
• Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including business partnering and project management.
• 5+ years in Human Resources management and leadership.
• Strong understanding of HR disciplines including talent management, organizational development and employee relations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting corporate or central functions in a global organization.
• Demonstrated experience working in unionized manufacturing or industrial environments, with knowledge of labor relations practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic HR initiatives and cross-functional projects in support of the HR Director and Central Functions.
• Provide HR support to central functions and lead workforce planning and talent development efforts.
• Support the execution of HR strategies aligned with business goals across central functions.
• Advise leaders on US and Mexico labor laws, rules and processes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Business Degree

Master’s degree or HR certification

8+ years of progressive HR experience

5+ years in Human Resources management and leadership

Strong understanding of HR disciplines

Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Experience supporting corporate or central functions in a global organization

Experience working in unionized manufacturing or industrial environments

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment
