Job summary

Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and semiconductor solutions, is seeking a Layout Design Staff Engineer for its HBM team in Guadalajara, Mexico. You will work on intensive AI and HPC memory projects and collaborate across Micron's global teams.

The role focuses on analog, mixed-signal, and full-chip layout; you will guide junior engineers, ensure on-time delivery, and perform DRC/LVS checks with Cadence and Calibre tools. 7+ years of experience required; BE/MTech in Electronic/VLSI.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of analog/custom layout design in advanced CMOS process (Planar, FinFET).
• BE or MTech in Electronic/VLSI Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in physical verification and layout fundamentals.
• Experience leading sub-block level layouts and guiding teammates.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of analog, mixed-signal, and full-chip layouts.
• Perform LVS/DRC/Antenna checks, quality control, and documentation.
• Lead planning, area/time estimation, scheduling, and delegation across multiple projects.
• Guide junior and senior team members in sub-block layout execution and reviews.
• Communicate effectively with global engineering teams to ensure project success.
