Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Services in Mexico City to lead the Project Management Team across LATAM. The role entails coordinating resources, ensuring schedules and budgets are met, and guiding strategic initiatives for Tier 1 customers.

The successful candidate will manage complex projects, align with Commercial and Engineering teams, and drive improvements in risk management and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field as listed.
• 8+ years of experience managing industrial, energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading project teams or managing work through others.
• Strong understanding of project management concepts and resource planning.
• Familiarity with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with global cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
• Fluent English and Spanish, spoken and written, for LATAM and US collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Project Management Team in Mexico to ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, quality, and customer expectations.
• Translate regional objectives into operational plans and determine resources needed.
• Directly manage strategic projects and Tier 1 customers, acting as primary contact for critical issues.
• Support the Commercial Team with strategic customers and new business opportunities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and lead weekly project review meetings.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with policies and safety requirements.
