Job summary

Nextpower Mexico Renewables, S. DE R.L. DE C.V., is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Services to lead the Project Management Team in Mexico, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations.

You will translate regional objectives into operational plans, allocate resources, and guide execution across the team while coordinating with Commercial, Engineering, and Operations. The role manages Tier 1 customers and critical projects, serves as the primary contact for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience managing industrial, energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading project teams, supervising professionals, or managing work through others.
• Strong understanding of project management concepts, applications, resource planning, risk management, and operational execution.
• Ability to evaluate project and operational issues involving multiple factors and determine practical solutions within established policies and objectives.
• Familiarity with environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, communication skills, and ability to work effectively with global cross‑functional teams, customers and external suppliers.
• Fluent English and Spanish, spoken and written, required for collaboration with U.S. and LATAM-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Project Management Team within established policies and department practices.
• Drive department growth through contract management, capacity planning, resource allocation, and budget planning.
• Translate functional plans and regional objectives into operational processes and execution plans.
• Organize department structure and monitor progress, resources, financial performance, and business impacts.
• Manage initiatives to improve performance, reduce costs, and implement corrective actions.
• Recommend changes to processes, tools, and procedures to improve execution, risk management, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct performance evaluations, support professional development, and promote team growth.
• Support the Commercial Team with strategic customers and new business opportunities.
• Strengthen relationships with key customers and support contract expansion.
• Lead project reviews, communicate objectives and risks to stakeholders, and ensure KPIs are met.
