Capgemini Engineering in Mexico is seeking a capable IT professional to support Tier 0 GPS mainframe operations, performing incident triage, service restoration, and runbook hygiene. You will maintain logs, document handovers, and escalate issues as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent, knowledge of mainframe fundamentals (TSO/ISPF), ticketing discipline, and strong English communication. Production support experience in financial services is a plus.

• Strong documentation and handover skills.

Your Role

You will support day-to-day Tier 0 GPS mainframe operations, contributing to incident triage, service restoration, monitoring response, controls evidence, and runbook hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial and secondary triage for incidents affecting client systems
• Execute documented recovery and support procedures using approved runbooks.
• Maintain operational notes, control evidence, handovers, and known-error documentation.
• Escalate technical risks and recurring issues to senior engineers and leads.

Your Profile

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or Equivalent.
• Mainframe support fundamentals and TSO/ISPF working knowledge.
• Production support discipline and ticket management.
• Incident triage, escalation, and root‑cause support.
• Strong documentation and handover skills.
• Financial services technology exposure preferred.
