Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions in Guadalajara is seeking a skilled L3 technical support software engineer to act as the final escalation point for field issues, collaborating with L2 and other teams to troubleshoot production incidents and write design docs.

The role involves designing and coding solutions, planning changes, producing unit tests, validating in labs, and documenting changes, with a strong emphasis on Java, microservices, Docker, and cloud/web apps.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related.
• 3-5 years of Java-based development or support experience in enterprise/microservices architectures.
• 4-5 years developing or supporting modern web applications, including cloud/web-based content.
• Experience communicating at different technical levels, from architects to end users.
• Technical stack includes Java, microservices, Spring Boot, non-relational databases, Docker, JUnit, JavaScript, and basic Linux.
• English: advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve production issues through tickets (cloud deployments, performance, databases, code).
• Design and code solutions, plan design changes, and present to architects.
• Generate unit tests and validate changes in lab environments.
• Document changes clearly and thoroughly.
