Job summary

Jabil in Chihuahua, Mexico is seeking an Industrial Engineer SME II to plan, design, implement and manage integrated production and service delivery systems. You will ensure performance, reliability, and cost control across the site and region.

You will lead cross-functional projects, optimize layouts, and drive continuous improvements while mentoring engineers and aligning with SAP/MES configurations. This role centers on profitability, adaptability, and quality across life cycles.

Qualifications

• Broad range of industrial engineering tools incl. work measurement, simulation and mapping.
• Strong financial and analytical abilities across P&L, planning and delivery.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and change management.
• Understanding of site facilities and how they tie to strategy; SAP/MES knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead site or regional IE projects to eliminate waste via standard IE processes.
• Include complex process simulation, operations research, and cost analysis.
• Evaluate workforce utilization, layout, and end-to-end value stream efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional projects to optimize large-scale initiatives.
• Serve as SME for IE systems and applications; standardize IE practices globally.
• Prepare quotes for large-scale manufacturing projects with end-to-end design.
• Mentor engineers and share best practices across teams.
• Communicate IE metrics to regional teams and stakeholders.
