Jabil in Chihuahua, Mexico seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the SMT manufacturing engineering department, driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across the line.

The role focuses on development, optimization, and sustainment of SMT processes, leading root-cause analysis and supporting NPI, DFA/DFM collaborations with cross-functional teams to achieve IPC and customer quality requirements.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes and PCB assembly.
• Experience with SMT equipment and process validation.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, optimization, and sustainment of SMT processes.
• Provide technical leadership for SMT production equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement focusing on yields, OEE, cycle time, and defect prevention.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for SMT defects.
• Collaborate with Product, Process, Test, and Quality teams for NPI and DFM/ DFA.
• Review documentation, control plans, PFMEAs and process qualifications.
