Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing leader, seeks an Industrial Engineer II at its Chihuahua site. You will plan, design, implement, and manage integrated production and service delivery systems to assure performance, reliability, and cost control.

This role focuses on profitability, adaptability, and continuous improvement across product lifecycles. You will drive standard work, site layouts, tool design, and data-driven investigations while coaching engineers and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools (e.g., work measurement, process mapping, facilities, workstation design).
• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean initiatives and cost reduction programs.
• Proficiency with PC software including MS Office, Visio, MS Project, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and manage integrated production and service delivery systems.
• Eliminate waste through standard Industrial Engineering processes and capital equipment projects.
• Develop time standards for process steps for data tracking.
• Analyze IE metrics for assigned customer area and prepare quotes data.
• Coordinate layouts and facility moves for assigned customers or areas.
• Ensure data integrity in IEDB and SAP/MES configurations.
• Coach and mentor engineers within the IE team.
• Support standardization of Jabil processes across the site.
