Jabil in Chihuahua, Mexico seeks an Industrial Engineer I to support planning, design, and management of production and service delivery systems. The role focuses on optimizing operations, ensuring performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control across the site.

You will study operation sequences, recommend efficient workflows, and help maximize equipment and personnel utilization in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Broad range of industrial engineering tools (work measurement, process mapping, facilities/workstation design).
• Understanding of Jabil's global strategies and direction.
• Knowledge of site's facilities and how they tie to Jabil strategies.
• Strong analytical ability and cost-reduction mindset.
• Good communication skills and PC proficiency (MS Office).

Responsabilités

• Monitor and continuously improve daily quality and efficiency for assigned areas.
• Design and procure production tooling, equipment and workstations.
• Coordinate layout and workstation move activities.
• Prepare time estimates for proposed projects and evaluate time factors.
• Minimize changeover time by standardizing set-ups where possible.
• Verify machine maintenance is scheduled and performed.
• Reduce scrap by monitoring data and taking corrective actions.
• Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout, and production data for efficient operations.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and company security policies.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
