Job summary

Etéreo, Auberge Collection, on Mexico's Riviera Maya, seeks a seasoned Group Sales professional to drive group business and build lasting relationships with corporate, agency, DMC, and destination partners.

You will respond to RFPs, prepare proposals and contracts, and coordinate with Sales and Revenue Management to optimize rates and terms across rooms, banquets, catering, spa, and other revenue streams. Travel and client engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel group sales and developing relationships with corporate, MICE, and agency clients.
• Knowledge of meetings, incentives, events, and group sales dynamics.
• Experience managing leads, RFPs, proposals, contracts, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop accounts within the assigned territory, including corporate clients, meeting planners, agencies, DMCs, and organizations.
• Identify new business opportunities and reactivate previously generated business.
• Respond to leads and RFPs, and prepare proposals, sales agreements, contracts, and other documents.
• Evaluate opportunities based on dates, group size, rates, and potential contributions across rooms, banquets, catering, spa, and other revenue streams.
• Coordinate with Sales and Revenue Management on availability, rates, concessions, and terms.
• Keep account and contact information, sales activity, and pipeline up to date; prepare weekly reports.
• Organize client presentations, site inspections, sales events, and familiarization trips.
• Share confirmed group details with operational teams in a timely manner and follow up on client needs.
